What are the mistakes that hinder businesses in Bulgaria

Business climate in the country is improving almost every month. Entrepreneurs are increasingly optimistic, expecting better results, revenue growth, and expanding business. Our country is becoming an increasingly preferred destination for foreign investors.

However, businesses need further system improvements to help them grow more and more. Some of the biggest obstacles are the administrative burden, the lack of qualified workforce and the lack of good laws.

Often, however, these problems are not the only ones that harm the business. There are a few things that many entrepreneurs do not take seriously, namely they are extremely damaging to the business. Here are some of them.

1. There is no strategy

Living "day by day" is not the best strategy when it comes to business development. If you want your company to grow well, you need an action plan for every possible situation. Long-term plans are important to a business because they set a clear goal and direction.

2. Lack of good attitude

To clients, partners and employees. Good reputation is built on an emotional basis. If you behave badly with your customers and your partners, do not expect good results. If you behave badly with your employees - do not expect any development. Your employees are the engine of your business, and customers and partners are what feeds the company. So, try to distinguish your personal from your professional life.

3. No organization

Unfortunately, many entrepreneurs do not take seriously the fact that businesses need organization. In many companies, it is not clear which employee has duties and functions. It is common practice for every employee to be responsible for things that are not within his or her job or are not his job description. This should not be the case because it raises the discontent that "someone does the work of another, and he does not get paid for it."

4. "I can do everything"

Your business should not offer everything to customers. Target a target group to target most of your products and services. In this sphere you have to be the best. If you offer everything that a customer needs is very likely to disappoint. This also applies to the workflows of any office worker. If your employees are busy with tasks they do not have, it's pretty sure they are disappointed. You will suffer from this, because you can lose a valuable frame, understandable by your work, but it is hurried to the work of another.

5. Excessive expectations

Do not expect your employees to be constantly on line. Respect their privacy and do not worry them when they are resting or relaxing. If you expect someone to be constantly on line and to work, whatever you want and without additional reward, you will lose not only the respect of this employee but also the respect of your entire team. Caring for your business is your primary responsibility. Not your employees and not your partners. So, try to do it yourself. If this makes it difficult for you to resume a message, an email, or a phone call, but do not force someone to ignore their family or friends to come to work on their weekend.
