Last week, in Slovakia was held annual competition for startups Central European Startup Awards (CESA), where attended by Bulgarian company. CESA competition was held for the third consecutive year, and its purpose is to bring together a thriving startup companies and investors to exchange experiences and contacts.

The competition involved and other Balkan countries - Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Romania, Austria, Poland, Serbia and the Czech Republic.

The software company recognizes objects and describes them by keywords. Thus, when you upload a photo, the program will be recognized and automatically assigns keywords. The idea of ​​the product e, that through his companies and companies working with a large base of images will be much easier to identify and deal with them.

One of the founders of the company Imagga - George Kadrev talks about his idea, which first occurred to him back in 2007. He said that in 2011. the company has received its first external funding from the Greek fund Openfund, and in 2013. they have invested Bulgarian LAUNCHub.

Imagga gaining momentum and say they already have over 7000 users worldwide and over 160 business customers. Currently the company employs 9 people - 8 Bulgarians and 1 American. The plans of the young company is to recruit more staff and conquer and the South Korean market, which already gives serious requests. Part of the team of the company is currently in South Korea, where they will have the opportunity to develop their business in the Asian market.
