Huawei's CEO believes that the IT sector in Bulgaria is extremely developed

In an interview with Bloomberg TV Bulgaria, Guo Ping says he is impressed by Bulgaria. Ping is Deputy Chairman of Huawei Technologies and Rotary Executive Director. Before coming to Bulgaria for the first time, Ping connects our country with essential oils of Bulgarian rose.

Arriving here, however, he understands that Bulgaria generates only 5% of GDP through agriculture. Huge is the percentage (60%) that occupies the services in the IT sector. This week, Huawei announced Vivacom's cloud. This platform should be beneficial to both the various institutions and the government. Its main purpose is to help information services become a public service.

"Globally, there is a 70% increase in cloud service usage, and it's only one year. We expect similar growth in Bulgaria too, "Ping said.

The aim of the partnership between Vivacom and Huawei is to help make Bulgaria a center of high-tech solutions across Europe.

Ping commented that different sectors in the country should be able to provide cloud services that do not require special skills and experience. Thus, companies will be able to focus on their core tasks.
