The German company processing of industrial minerals "Kaolin" is preparing a 5-year investment plan in which they pledged nearly 100 million. Lev investments in Bulgaria.

The company now owns three factories in Bulgaria and part of the investments will be invested in their modernization and comprehensive development. The rest of the investments will be directed towards the development and construction of new plants in order to expand the company's operations.

The Company is the largest producer of raw materials such as silica sand, kaolin, fireclay, feldspar, dolomite, clay and limestone country. The products of "Kaolin" are widespread and are used in a variety of industries - for the production of ceramics, paper, feed, glass, fillers and others.

CEO Radomir Cholakov said that there are already plans for modernization of Senovo, Rousse and Kaolinovo. They will be implemented new production lines for the enrichment of raw materials, which will help create innovative products.

Considering construction of maintenance facilities to ensure systematic maintenance of the plants. In the three factories will be established educational workshops where you can prepare up to 50 workers to have company with skilled labor.

In addition to existing factories, the company will invest in the construction of a new processing plant for kaolin and silica sand near the village Republic. The location of the new site is not accidental. At the beginning of the year, the company was granted concession for extraction of quartz-kaolin raw material from the "Kolobar" municipality Republic for a period of 35 years.

Until three years "Kaolin" was a Bulgarian company, whereas in 2013. the German company Quarzwerke not interested in it. Since being acquired by him, the company reported much higher revenue growth and additional profits are reinvested in the improvement and modernization of production facilities in factories.

In addition to Bulgaria, "Kaolin" owns manufacturing plants in Ukraine and Serbia, which helped Quarzwerke to expand its activities in the countries.
