Markam "Express Service" will build a new factory for repair of locomotives near Rousse. This was announced by the Association of Bulgarian railway carriers.
The investment in the new plant will amount to 12.6 million. Lev and will be invested in two phases. In the first phase, the company will invest 5.6 million. Lev in the construction of depot repair locomotives. It will allow the repair of eight machines simultaneously and will provide 60 new jobs.
The remaining 7 million. Lev will be invested in the construction of a depot for repair of electric and diesel railcars, which will provide 40 jobs. The second depot will allow the repair of 10 locomotives simultaneously.
Both landfills are constructed as an extension to existing plants with a capacity for repair of locomotives is full.
Rousse "Express Service" is the only company in the country, which is engaged in manufacturing and repairing locomotives. Since its inception in 1998. until now, "Express Service" has produced over 50 lokomoiva for different countries. Since 2002. now, the company manufactures locomotives in an entirely Bulgarian patent and sell them in Asia, Africa and Europe.
