Bulgarian IT experts: work perfectly worldwide

IDEO is a Bulgarian company developing web-based software for Bulgarian and foreign clients. In 2015, the company began expanding its activities by creating a team of digital service, which led to the acquisition of sites www.kpd.bg, www.booksbg.org, www.zemedelski.com and others during the month of June 2016 .

Among the clients of IDEO is the world organization of cooperatives EuroCoop, Central Cooperative Union, mineral water "Gorna Banya 1" Union of soft industry in Bulgaria, mineral water "BALDARAN" Polish company Bra Clinic and others.

The company builds and expands software applications for customers in Germany, Belgium, Russia, the US, Greece and others.

One year IDEO is representative for the whole of Europe Kyrgyz Intelliants LLC. The company has offices in Georgia, Russia and North Korea and develops popular eSyndiCat and Subrion CMS.

We talk with George, technical manager of IDEO

We turn you into outsourcing country?

I do not think. General opinion is that we are comfortable to perform the job - here salaries, rents and taxes are lower and therefore are definitely attractive to foreign companies, but not least we have and competitive.

Execute projects for Belgium, Russia, Germany and other countries.

We are not subcontractors and general contractors. And I will tell you that past performance we communicate with people of many nationalities - Russians, Belgians, franzutsi, Poles, Serbs, Croats, Greeks, Turks, Kyrgyz, Swedes and others. All they talk to us with respect, because no matter whether they are employees of the company for which they work or programmers, they see what we have done. In no case they considered "second class people."

Is this reason to work with Intelliants LLC.?

With a team of Intelliants communicate about two years, we expand their software and use it for our projects. One day they sought us and told us - "You're doing perfectly and gladly work with you. We have customers from all over the world, what would you say to serve those in Europe?"

Immediately you agreeing?

Without a second thought. Perhaps not familiar with programming in detail, but everything is specific and has a certain structure that is designed for a certain type of work - Vbox7.com nothing to do with Abv.bg, they are two totally different things. And if one day you decide to do Vbox7 most popular mail will not succeed.

Intelliants develop web software that allows people who have no technical knowledge alone to do what they want - from fields to fill in to how users can pay eventually.

Their software allows you to create a website announced whether it will be a "yellow pages", properties, cars or else. You have to pay SMS - you can plug it. If you have not excluded it.

To create such software is a complex task and means that a good programmer.

And when good programmers invite us to work together means that we are not less skilled than them.

Are there enough people who are qualified for your job?

There are many people with certificates and higher education in this field.

Most of the candidates to work in this field are referred to it, because they heard that a programmer receives 5,000 lev fee. I personally know two people who get about that amount - one technical manager of a large payment system in Bulgaria and the other is technical manager in our office of an American company that integrates systems analysis in large companies.

Imagine a small company than 3 programmer, each with 5,000 Levs salary - 15,000 lev Office rental for these 3 people - 800 lev, small costs such as Internet, telephone, licensed software, etc. ., about 17 000 lev monthly expense.

Who is this business that will able you to pay 17 000 lev every month and what do you do about it to 17,000 lev every month?

But people do not think about it, they hear that the programmer receives 5,000 Levs salary and embark on the path of learning.

Certain people decided to stand on this path and make good profits from it, and discovered software academies and universities. Of these places do not go completed programmers. People who become Developers have they enshrined in themselves and are trained in software academies and practice - try, make mistakes and try again until you get it.

Really know their job people know little compared to all I know.

What is your strategy in the selection of people in this situation?

Basically we are looking for young, still developing programmers. All experienced programmers have a stable job and rarely seek new job.

Young programmers can be trained during our work, which is the best teacher. Communicate directly with customers assess how best to do something and learn to think rationally, which is the basis for programming.

Is there enough young candidates?

No, for several reasons - the first is what I said a moment ago - the remuneration. Usually young programmers also have heard about these high wages and want a starting salary of 2,000 lev, while learning and start taking 5,000 lev

The second is that not everyone becomes a programmer, there are many people willing to development, but as said Academician Angel Balevski - "To develop, you have to have something rolled up in yourself."

The third is that programming is associated with thinking and thinking in Bulgaria is not currently in vogue. For 2013, the most demanded profession was a security guard.

What are your future plans?

For several months now we expanded our activities with digital service - we do everything for our customers - except that they are developing software or websites, we made a team they supported pages to Facebook, advise them creates their reputation in the Internet, damages competition (laughs ) cells, as in any other business.

Now in our free time we started KPD.bg in Germany, since there is no such project and we think that we will have success.

Our main plan has not changed since we started - to increase permanently their clients and help them and to show everyone that produced in Bulgaria is not worse than theirs.
